Doha: Birla Public School reaffirmed its commitment to professional excellence and holistic student development by organising a comprehensive series of Continuous Professional Development sessions for its teachers from August 23 to 27, 2026.

The programme began on August 23 with a session on "Mindfulness" led by Principal Dr. Anand R. Nair, highlighting the importance of well-being in fostering a positive educational environment. The Counselling Department conducted a session on "Identifying & Supporting CWSN (Children with Special Needs)," addressing identification, classroom support, and CBSE concessions.

From August 24 to 26, teachers of Grades KG to V participated in sessions facilitated by Dr. Dhanya Bhaskaran on "Making Classrooms Talk," "Competency-Based Teaching & Learning," and "Assessment for Learning."

Specialised programmes were also held for Mathematics teachers (Grades VI to X) with Ms. Shwetha Bhageria, Social Science teachers (Grades VI to VIII) with Ms. Nidhi Kaushik, and teachers of Grades VI to XII on "Innovative Teaching & Collaborative Learning" with Mr. Sandeep Karma. A session on "Remedial Teaching Strategies for Slow Learners and Enrichment Strategies for High Achievers" was conducted by Ms. Tapasi De on the final day.

The programme also featured a hobby session organised by various departments, with teachers participating in art, music, sports, dance, cooking, yoga, crochet, and storytelling. The CPD programme concluded with a general meeting with board members, during which Director Mr. C.V. Rappai addressed the teaching fraternity, with Vice-Chairman Dr. Mohan Thomas and management representatives in attendance.
